KB - Titan Server Service Slow or Stopped after Reboot

Titan Server Service is slow or not started after a Reboot

Question

After restarting the Server, Titan Service is slow or not started at all. How do I resolve this?

Reasoning

It is desired for the Titan Server Service to be running, and running properly, after a restart of the system

Answer

A change to a service timeout setting has shown to resolve this issue

Pre-requisites

  1. Have Titan Server installed on your system

  2. Local Admin credentials to be able to import/make changes to the registry

  3. Admin Credentials to login to the Titan Server Administrator Interface

Steps

  1. Download the attached servicetimeout registry file. It has been renamed with a .txt extension for ease of use

  2. Rename the servicetimeout.reg.txt file to servicetimeout.reg

  3. Run the servicetimeout.reg file and then, if prompted, confirm to allow the file to Run

  4. Restart the Titan Server Service

  5. Use Titan Server as usual and test to confirm Service Started and is working as required
