How To: Create IP Access Rules in Titan



Titan SFTP Server and Titan MFT Server.

Question

How do I create rules for allowing or restricting traffic based on IP address.

Reasoning

I would like to be able to put a restriction in place due to security reasons, we can either allow or deny access from a certain IP address or IP address range.

You have the option in Titan to create IP access rules.


Steps

  1. Navigate to Security and click on IP access tab.

  1. Enable the option “IP Access Enabled”. 
  2. Click on Manage Rules.

  1. Click on the plus icon on the top right corner.

  1. Configure the IP access rule settings:
  1. Protocols dropdown: Select which protocol this rule will apply to.
  2. Enable option to enable this access rule.
  3. Input the start and end IP address range.
  4. Allow or deny access by enabling or disabling the “Allow Access” checkbox
