Updating Cornerstone to the Newest Version

Security standards are constantly changing, and SRT recommends implementing the latest versions of your software on an ongoing basis. Without regular patches and updates, the software may become vulnerable to new methods of attack. Updating Cornerstone involves two simple steps:

  1. Back up your Cornerstone configuration data, which includes server, user, and groupsettings
  2. Install the latest version of CornerstoneBackup Cornerstone Configuration Data

We highly recommend you back up the existing Cornerstone configuration information stored in the system registry before deactivating the license, installing the newest version of your software from ____, and reactivating your license.
