Managing Cornerstone users and groups with custom C# .net API applications

Question: Is it possible to manage Cornerstone/Titan from our own code? (C# .NET)? Is there an API so we can add groups to Cornerstone/Titan when using NT authentication ?


Answer: Yes, you can use the srxCOM.DLL interface to interact with Cornerstone/Titan, similar to how you would do it with srxCFG. The Online Help system has information on using the srxCOM interface. Like the srxCFG utility, the srxCOM interface can perform group/user management when working with Cornerstone User Authentication only.


If you are using a non-Cornerstone based user authentication, such as NTSAM/AD/LDAP/ODBC, then you will need to use the Cornerstone Admin utility for configuration.
