Question
Once I upgraded to Titan NextGen, how can I rollback to legacy?
Reasoning
If we upgraded to Titan NextGen and had unforeseen issues, I would want to be able to rollback to our Titan FTP legacy instance to keep any impact to a minimum.
Answer
When you upgrade, your Legacy instance and configuration is kept intact in case you want to revert back.
Steps To Revert back to Legacy Titan FTP Server
- Open the Windows Services menu (Win + R, Services.msc).
- Locate the Titan FTP Server NextGen service, right click it and select Properties.
- On the Properties panel, set the Startup Type to Disabled, click on Stop under the Service Status and click OK.
- To start up your Titan Legacy instance, locate the Titan FTP Server Daemon service, right click it and select Properties.
- On the Properties panel, set the Startup Type to Automatic, click on Start under the Service Status and click OK.
Then log in to your Titan FTP admin console with the old shortcut. As stated above, your Legacy instance is kept intact when upgrading in case you need to revert back.
