How To: Give Users Admin Permissions

How To: Give Users Admin Permissions

Question

How do I give a user admin capability?

Reasoning

Managing and administering Titan can be time consuming so having the ability to delegate some of the tasks to a second user would be very helpful.

Answer

You can enable the administrator option for each user which will give them limited administrator capabilities such as managing users.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the user, click on the Admin tab and enable “User is Administrator”.

  1. Login to the WEBUI with the above user and click on “Admin Console” under the username dropdown.

  1. You will see the sections the user can manage. In this example, we will create a new user so click on “Users”

  1. Click on New User.

  1. Add in user details.

  1. Click on Save.
