How To: Setup Remote Administration for Titan
Question
Reasoning
We want to manage the server remotely from another system.
Answer
Pre-requisites
Titan SFTP, Titan MFT or Titan DMZ Server installed
Titan Server Administrator account credentials to access the Admin Interface
Proper port (e.g. 31443) opened locally on the server for accessing the Titan Server Admin
Optional: TLS Certificate
Steps
Login to your Windows Server with Titan installed
Click on The Titan Server Icon to load the Administrator interface in a browser and login using your Admin account credentials for Titan Server
From the main page of the Titan Server Administrator, select the top-level Home option and then select the “Edit” icon to the far right for the Local Domain you have in Titan.

From here, check the box for “Remote Admin” to enable this option. By default, this will be on Port 41443 and using the default Local Certificate.

NOTE: Using the default certificate will cause a warning in the browser as the certificate is self-signed. You’ll want to go back out to the main Home option and choose the “Manage Certificates” option at the top right. Now, you can Import a proper TLS certificate for use.

If using an imported TLS Certificate, go to the “Edit” icon for the Local Domain and then click the dropdown for the TLS Server Certificate to use for the Remote Admin (very bottom of the screen) and select the proper certificate.
Ensure you open Port 41443 on your local server and any relevant firewalls.
Open a browser and navigate to the designated URL and Port for your Remote Admin login and access.
