Error when activating product

Error when activating product

Sometimes you may receive an error during activation of the product registration code indicating that Access is Denied, or No Permission.

This could happen if the Windows NTFS permissions are preventing the activation code to be written to the local computer drive. To correct this problem:

1) Run Windows Explorer

2) Go to C:\ProgramData\ (Note that this folder is typically Hidden. If you do not see the folder, enter the path directly in the Address bar at the top of Windows Explorer)

3) Right click on the South River Technologies folder

4) under Security, give full Read/Write permissions to Everyone.

Close Windows Explorer and run the activation process again.
