Error upon startup of Titan/Cornerstone Administrator stating that IP may be incorrect or port may be in use

Java made a change that takes over port 31000. Please run a netstat -a -n -p tcp -b. If the Java service (or any other than Cornerstone) is running on port 31000, you will need to change your Administration port in Titan/Cornerstone to a non-used port (i.e.: 31010 or other not well known port that is not currently in use).

To change the port used by the Local Administration Service:
  1. Run RegEdit
  2. Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\South River Technologies\Titan MFT Server\LDomain\
  3. Set the LASPort to 31005
  4. Close Regedit
  5. Restart the Cornerstone Service
Running the Titan/Cornerstone Admin Console will now make a connection on port 31005
